KUOW is a non-profit radio station that broadcasts to the Seattle Metropolitan Area on the frequency 94.9 FM and to the world via online live streaming. Its studios are located on the grounds of the University of Washington. 

KUOW has a news/talk format and broadcasts various local, national, and international news reports throughout the day, as well as talk shows where hosts and guests analyze the latest current affairs, political and financial developments. The station is also a member of the NPR network and its line-up features both original content and syndicated talk shows.
