CBME-FM CBC Radio One Montreal diretta

CBME-FM station is government-owned and operated by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and it is located in Montreal, Quebec. This station airs commercial-free news/talk format broadcasting at 88.5 FM. CBME-FM transmitter is located atop Mount Royal and like all CBC Radio One stations, but unlike most FM stations, it broadcasts in mono.
The station's first broadcast was on 1933 as CRCM operated by the Canadian Radio Broadcasting Commission. In 1937 the call sign changed to CBM when CBC became the owner of the station. In 1999 when its sister station CBF moved to FM, the station changed its call sign to CBME-FM in order to distinguish the station from sister station CBM-FM.
