Nova 100 (call sign: 3MEL) along with sister station, Smooth fm 91.5 is an Australian commercial radio station owned by NOVA Entertainment. The station is based in Melbourne, Victoria and broadcasts on the 100.3 MHz FM frequency. Nova 100 started in 2001, and was the first new commercial radio station in Melbourne for 21 years. Initially Nova 100 played alternative, hip-hop, pop & dance music and especially new releases. Nowadays, the station's main content is still commercial music, specifically the format adult contemporary.
