CJFM-FM is a commercial English language radio station, branded as 95.9 Virgin Radio, which is based in Quebec, Canada. The station features a Top 40/CHR format and broadcasts at the frequency of 95.9 MHz with an effective radiated power of 41,200 watts using the antenna located atop Mount Royal, at 297.4 meters. It was one of four FM stations which came on the air in the 1960s and transmitted from Mount Royal.
CJFM-FM first broadcast took place on October 1, 1962. Through the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s it had several formats from easy listening, album-oriented rock and adult contemporary music, to Top 40-leaning hot AC in 1992. By July 2016, CJFM had changed its format to Top 40/CHR.
