It has an Urban/Rural Contemporary format, with music standing for 70% of its airtime, of which Kwaito, Hip Hop, and R&B, Jazz, Wedding Songs, Amapiano, Gqom, Cultural Music etc take up the biggest share. Its music selection is at the discretion of its in-house team of DJs, Presenters and its Amapiano Hour with Amapiano mixes, every monday to friday at 5 pm, is particularly popular with the audience. Our Mission : exclusively play South African music to develop, preserve and grow the music culture, history, industry, and improve the lives of all People especially Artists in our country; and we are dedicated to promoting, exporting, and preserving South African music.   Indie Grind Podcast is a very intuitive radio station with some of the country’s leading radio programs in their day-long programs schedules.
